About the job

Events presence is key for Alma’s brand awareness and lead generation machine. That is why, in 2024 we have planned to be present at 4 top retail events and organize 6 of them internally. To maximise our success for those events we need to reinforce our marketing team.

As an Events Associate intern, you will be organizing and monitoring Alma’s presence at impactful Retail and Partner events as well as assisting the organization of owned events, in France for our prospects & customers.

Reporting to Léa, Brand Design Ops you will be part of the Marketing team and work closely with the Sales and CSM teams as well as external providers.

About the mission

In a nutshell, your key responsibilities will consist in:

  • Events benchmark: Monitor the presence of our top competitors at main Retail & Payment FR & international events.
  • Event project management: Make sure all stakeholders meet deadlines, drive alignment meetings, work in close collaboration with the Sales team for customer invitations, meeting bookings to maximize the event’s success, follow and analyze the event KPI’s and make recommendations.
  • Event communication (internal & external): Communicate internally on the event, animate external communication actions (social network posts, customer invitations, post-event emails), ensure video and photo coverage of our event presence.
  • Event logistics: Secure the shipment and return of Alma's material and objects, book travels for Alma teams, manage the D-Day organisation and planning on-site, manage D-day stocks (water, goodies, comm support, etc.).

About you

Your profile :

  • Level of Education: Master / MBA - Bac + 4/5
  • Area of study: Business, Marketing, Project Management
  • Languages: French native and fluent in English
  • Availability for 6 months internship minimum starting from 1rst April 2024
  • Having a internship agreement provided by your school

Your soft skills :

  • You demonstrate good communication and solid organisational skills
  • You are reliable and autonomous, you are solution-oriented and pay attention to details
  • You show a strong ability to remain calm and relevant even in stressful situations
  • You are able to multi-task while remaining meticulous in carrying out the required duties
  • You are a team player, you are able to work on transversal projects involving several stakeholders
