About the team

You'll be part of the Operations team whose missions are to provide (i) the best customer support experience to our users (consumers and merchants) and (ii) scale efficiently the daily operations of our business.

Working as a Data Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in leveraging our data to improve the experience of our users, drive efficiency and quality, reduce risk, and surface opportunities and improvements to your stakeholders. You'll hold a cross-functional role that bridges our team with the rest of the organisation, particularly with the data, product, and engineering teams.

About the mission

In a nutshell, your key responsibilities will consist in:

  • Build, improve, and maintain data and dashboards that will empower our teams to monitor their key performance indicators, make data-driven business decisions, and drive accountability
  • Support our team members on their day-to-day data requests to ensure our operations run like a well-oiled machine
  • Train our team members to understand our data and data tools
  • Deep dive into data to frame business problems and gather actionable insights and data-driven solutions, notably to our tech teams
  • Drive a data culture in the team with documentation and best practices, and work closely with our Central Data teams to improve data quality across the board

About you

You will be a good fit for the role if (mandatory requirements):

  • Education background: you hold a Master's degree in relevant fields (i.e. Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Business)
  • Professional experience: you have 0-4 years of relevant experiences in similar functions
  • Language: you have a full professional proficiency in both French and English
  • Technical skills: you have a good understanding of SQL and Spreadsheets (Google, Excel)
  • Great communicator: you have excellent communication skills

Soft skills:

  • You are autonomous, rigorous and detail-oriented
  • You are data-driven: you are at ease with defining metrics to drive business decisions
  • You are a problem solver: you love to investigate issues and identify the root causes of problems in order to identify appropriate solutions
  • You have an analytical mindset: you are able to breakdown a big problem into smaller ones to solve them
  • You are customer obsessed: you are able to put yourself in our users’ shoes and come up with creative ideas to improve their experience
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset: you do not hesitate to take ownership and “get your hands dirty”

Hands-on experience with data modelling, Looker, and Python will make you stand out of the crowd.
