We are hiring a Senior UX Designer

We are looking for a motivated, passionate and highly skilled Senior UX Designer, to join our Product team.

Location: Spain (remote job)

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research to understand the needs and behaviors of target users to inform design decisions and improve the overall user experience.
  • Lead the development of design solutions by creating strong empathy with users. Some deliverables may include: competitive analyses, low fidelity wireframes, high fidelity mockups, prototypes, journey maps, storyboards, personas, design vision, specification documents, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product Development, Engineering, Data Science, and Commercial, to ensure cohesive and user-centric product experiences.
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and data analysis.
  • Stay current with industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies.
  • Advocate for the user throughout the product development process
  • Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines for consistent user experiences.
  • Ability to identify and solve real user experience and design challenges, and present multiple concepts for consideration, with sound rationale articulating design decisions and process followed.
  • Develop and execute in an agile development environment.

Job competencies & Personal attributes:

  • 5+ years of work experience in Design.
  • Previous experience designing web and native iOS and Android applications.
  • Previous experience as a designer in an agile environment, including the ability to embrace iterative product development while maintaining a cohesive and holistic view of the overall design experience.
  • Proficiency with industry standard design and prototyping tools, such as Figma.
  • A good understanding of the capabilities and limitations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from a design perspective
  • Attention to detail in creating high-fidelity prototypes and design specifications
  • “Dream Big” mentality

Nice to have:

  • Experience with data visualization, even better if it’s related to geo-spatial data.
  • Experience utilizing and contributing to design systems.
  • Experience working on a farm or in the agriculture/digital agriculture industry.
  • Passionate about sustainability and having a positive impact on the environment.
