Position Summary
As a Digital Graphic Designer, you are part of the Marketing department acting as a focal point for the whole creative team to define the brand’s creative vision through the advertising and marketing campaigns. The role encompasses the process of understanding the brand strategy and evolving the given umbrella concepts into all applicable executions.
Reporting to the CMO & Head of Creative, you are required to conceptualize, design and deliver impactful and effective multi-platform creative visual communications to sit across digital channels. From this position, you need to have a holistic understanding of the entire creative process, be proactive and generate creative ideas & concepts that will help the brand grow both in terms of awareness, as well as in terms of measurable KPIs, including sales, lead acquisition, conversions, deposits and customer retention.
In your day-to-day tasks you are expected to demonstrate your creative flair and strong ability to translate marketing & communication requirements into creative concepts for a wide range of digital projects and/or a mix of print and digital. Also, you will be asked to liaise with the Marketing team members in Greece, Italy, Cyprus and Mexico and other stakeholders within the Company, to work methodically as part of a flexible MarComms team.
The goal is to inspire and attract the brand’s target audiences by conceiving, visualizing and creating Through-the-line (TTL) design materials for a wide variety of digital platforms.
- Co-define the creative strategy & vision for the brand identity and all its applications throughout FlexCar’s advertising and marketing campaigns.
- Study creative briefs, determine design requirements and work together with the design team for the preparation of digital assets.
- Liaise with the Marketing team members to gain an understanding of what is needed and contribute to the internal creative pitch process when ideas are presented to key stakeholders.
- Provide updates on projects’ progress to the CMO & Head of Creative and offer solutions ensuring goals and deadlines are met in an efficient manner.
- Produce creative mockups for other Business Units and make revisions based on feedback received; ensure final assets, visuals, messaging and interactive elements across a variety of Media formats are consistent and aligned with the brand CI.
- Develop a series of campaign concepts & brand applications such as diverse graphics, illustrations, layouts, display advertising assets, animations, videos, social media materials, logos, print advertisements, stickers and web templates, which are visually appealing and deliver a cohesive look and feel that reflects the desired theme and tone of communication.
Qualifications & Essential Skills
- BSc / MA / MSc in Graphic Design, Computer Interaction Design, Visual Arts or related fields.
- Skilled as a digital graphic and/or web designer with at least 2-3 years experience in graphic and digital design for a premium brand or coming from a creative/Ad Agency background.
- Ability to deliver creative ideas with conviction to a range of stakeholders and the capacity to manage several projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional knowledge and experience of working with both creative and marketing teams.
- Deep understanding of design principles and strong video/photo editing skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Solid comprehension of design software and Adobe Suite solutions such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects and wire-framing tools.
- Familiarity with web page layouts, newsletter templates and basic HTML/CSS.
- Awareness of UI/UX fundamentals will be considered a plus.
- Good video composition and production skills.
- Excellent command of the Greek & English language (both written and verbal).
- Positive team-oriented personality with the desire, ability and drive to ride a continuous learning curve in the automotive/startup industry.
- Creative personality with a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage a tight workflow to meet deadlines.
