YOUR MISSION

You will join a dynamic and fast-growing operation. The Content Operations department is responsible for ensuring excellence in the onboarding of our partners, taking care of their first days in Glovo, and ensuring excellence in the content of our platform once they are active.

We are looking for a Global Head of Content Operations based in Barcelona who will lead a global team of 30+ internal employees and 250+ external collaborators. The main focus of the role is leading the organization, ensuring the productivity, service levels, and high-quality targets are met at a global level, while transforming our operation from a work-intensive to a self-service-first / automated one. In order to achieve this, strong collaboration with product and business stakeholders is needed.

We're looking for someone who has the emotional intelligence and humility required to lead and inspire a team of highly talented people across different countries and who has a mix of execution skills to get great work done, with an analytical mindset to always apply the 80/20 rule, balancing speed over perfection. We are also looking for someone who has the influencing and collaboration skills needed to bring out the best in our stakeholders, and the strategic mindset that's required to develop and implement the needed long-term solutions.

THE JOURNEY

  • Have full responsibility and own 360º an operation of €3MM/yearly.
  • Lead a team of 30+ people to greatness (direct and indirect reports).
  • Hire top talent, help them perform, and inspire them to grow.
  • Define the long-term strategies, leveraging resources to achieve them.
  • Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop, and make a difference.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities, and ideate the required solutions.
  • Make things happen.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • University degree in Engineering, Business administration, or related majors.
  • Min of 7+ years of experience in fast-paced environments (startups, consulting firms, top digital product firms)
  • Experience leading big teams.
  • You’re results-oriented. You have an ambition that inspires others.
  • You're extremely curious and have a desire to acquire a deep understanding.
  • You have an openness to change (changes seeker).
  • You make decisions based on data, breaking complex problems into smaller ones, and prioritizing them effectively.
  • You have strong organizational skills, capable of prioritizing, delegating, and working well under pressure and with tight deadlines.
  • You’re an owner, you have a natural bias for action. You make things happen.
  • You’re able to find smart and elegant solutions to complex problems.
  • You're persuasive in the most pleasant possible way and capable of influencing others.
  • You are always empathetic, inclusive, respectful, and fair.
  • You have excellent communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus)
  • Experience in Salesforce or a similar CRM is a plus
  • Experience with Looker, Tableau, and Google Data Studio is a plus
  • Experience with SQL, Python is a plus
