The Demand Planning Manager will lead a diverse and international team to ensure optimal product availability and minimize food waste across multiple countries. This role requires the development and implementation of scalable processes tailored to each market’s unique demands. The ideal candidate will maintain a healthy working capital, manage the Days on Hand (DOH) inventory, and work closely with Q-commerce leaders and Delivery Hero to drive efficiency and innovation in demand planning processes.


Reporting directly to the Global Head of Category Management, you will:

  • Lead and develop an international team of demand planning professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages continuous learning and improvement.
  • Liaise with Q-commerce leaders across countries to understand local market needs and challenge to support growth and achievement of local targets through accurate planning.
  • Coordinate cross-collaboration between local and global operational teams and category management teams to ensure a seamless supply chain.
  • Design, implement, and standardize scalable demand planning processes that accommodate the unique needs of each country while ensuring consistency and allowing flexibility for local market adaptations.
  • Ensure optimal product availability across all markets by balancing supply with demand to minimize food waste, while monitoring working capital and DOH to ensure financial health and efficiency.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with the Delivery Hero’s Supply Chain team, advocating for tools and developments to enhance process efficiency.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.


  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Mathematics or a Supply Chain / Operations discipline.
  • Proven experience in demand planning, inventory management, or a related field, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Must possess excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common-sense approach to getting things done.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and make data-driven decisions.
