YOUR MISSION

As an Internal Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing the internal communications strategy for Glovo and support thought leadership.

You will be responsible for creating and delivering strong content that engages employees and strengthens the company’s culture. You will work closely with key stakeholders & senior leadership to ensure all internal communication is clear, consistent, and aligned with the company’s goals, values and tone of voice.

THE JOURNEY

  • Develop and execute the internal communications strategy for Glovo.
    • Liaise with key stakeholders and senior leadership to identify each department's needs and expectations and act on them.
    • Draft messages, support in presentations and act as a consultant and subject matter expert in all global and local communications to employees.
    • Have high levels of business acumen: keep track of the business’ objectives, KPI’s, OKR’s, launches and be able to identify what, when and where these should be shared and communicated.
  • Create and deliver internal communications content, always aligned with the company’s Tone of Voice, goals and values, for email updates, newsletters, videos, and presentations - including company-wide all-hands and other major internal events.
    • Co-own the content calendars, keeping them up to date to ensure consistent, relevant and coherent messaging across all channels.
    • Keep consistent communication with all the departments, proactively identify relevant content and information to be shared throughout the year.
    • Support senior leadership and other key stakeholders in their communication strategies - identify opportunities for business, department and team updates in line with company objectives.
  • Co-own content development and production for company-wide events.
    • Bi-monthly global all-hands: identify relevant updates, curate the content and own and oversee production. Liaise with key stakeholders and support senior leadership (CEO & VP’s) in their speeches and presentations. Keep track of business & department updates.
    • Bi-yearly global event (Culture days): identify relevant content, liaise and act as a consultant with key stakeholders and senior leadership (CEO & VP’s) on content, speeches and co-own the overall production of the event & presentations.
    • Quarterly HQ gatherings: Help identify relevant information to be shared with office management and other departments, own production and execution.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications, and make recommendations for improvement based on feedback and data analysis
  • Identify opportunities to promote employee engagement and help foster our company culture. Co-own Glovo’s Employee Value Proposition and help take it to the next level.
  • Support with crisis & leadership communications, from strategy, to execution and content development.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, advertising or related fields.
  • Excellent English writing and speaking skills (Spanish is a plus).
  • Ability to work independently & proactively, setting high standards in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to work on several projects simultaneously without compromising quality or deadlines.
  • Experience supporting in crisis communications - from strategy to content creation and execution.
  • Experience working in a global start-up, agency or consultancy environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership & key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Strong and quick adaptability to change.
  • Experience managing people is a plus.
