YOUR MISSION
As the Specialties Lead, you’ll manage everything beyond the grocery aisle: from bakery and pastry to meats, fish, poultry, fruits, vegetables, and gourmet products. Your mission is to drive growth, ensure top-tier product offerings, and lead a team of 2-3 passionate individuals to success. You’ll establish and maintain relationships with our specialty vendors, ensuring the best products and pricing, while continuously refining our offerings to exceed customer expectations.
THE JOURNEY
- Onboard new vendors into our specialty categories, providing them with the necessary tools to thrive.
- Build and nurture relationships with existing suppliers to maintain the highest levels of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Gather insights from partners and customers to continuously improve the product experience.
- Identify growth opportunities for each specialty category and develop innovative strategies to increase sales and market share.
- Manage and mentor your team, ensuring professional growth and delivering top-tier performance.
- Drive key metrics and meet monthly and quarterly objectives as defined by the company.
- Collaborate across teams, learning from each other in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
- 5+ years of experience in account management.
- Proven leadership experience managing small teams.
- Strong business acumen and an understanding of vendor relationships and pricing strategies.
- Data-driven and detail-oriented, with the ability to analyze trends and adapt quickly.
- Excellent negotiation skills, and proficiency in both English and French.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience with online tools like Office 365 or Salesforce is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, organized and autonomous
