YOUR MISSION

Glovo’s core product is a hyperlocal marketplace featuring the best restaurants in each city and delivery in less than 60 minutes. However, we believe that most restaurants and stores combine marketplaces with their own channels (website, phone, application, social media); and we want Glovo to be the delivery partner of choice for all of our partners’ deliveries, no matter the channel.

We are looking for a results driven problem solver to join the team in Nigeria to scale Glovo’s Logistics as a Service (LaaS) products, a vertical that helps our partners deliver orders created on their own channels (website, phone, application) via Glovo’s fleet of riders. As the LaaS Sales Specialist you will be the lead in Nigeria for generating sales and be the key representative of the LaaS Sales team.

THE JOURNEY

  • Be the primary person responsible for selling LaaS solutions to potential partners
  • Be in charge of building relationships with high priority partners, understanding their business needs , pitching the right Glovo product, signing & launching them.
  • Engage with key decision makers and follow up with them during the decision making process until you close deals with them.
  • Lead contract negotiations to establish a strong working partnership grounded on sustainable economics for both parties
  • Understand partner needs and compile, and share feedback with the LaaS team
  • Assist clients with API integration or registration process in the WebApp
  • Provide comprehensive training to clients on the technical and operational aspects of LAAS service
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and requests.
  • Address and resolve client issues promptly and effectively.
  • Manage and support a team of junior sales agents

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a business, commercial, sales, account management field
  • Customer oriented with strong commercial skills
  • Accountability and ownership for projects from start to finish - can understand the entire funnel and identify where to take actions
  • Willingness and ability to coordinate all technical, operational and commercial aspects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Project management skills, proactive, highly organized and detail-oriented with advanced stakeholder management skills
  • Problem solver, data-driven, analytical profile Good knowledge of Google Docs and MS Office, Excel
  • Proficiency in English
