Your Mission

The Sr Analyst, Category Management is responsible for the commercial-related topics in our MFCs - our very own supermarkets. From assortment definition to supplier management to pricing, you will play a key role in driving business growth and profitability.
As a part of the team, you will:
  • Have full ownership of the Category Management masterplan and KRs, including Category Add-to-Cart, active SKUs and Gross Margin.
  • Define the assortment strategy by managing all different categories in the mkt, and support the team in finding the suppliers to get the listings done and launching them with seamless UX.
  • Give visibility using analytical reports to the main stakeholders of the project status and follow up on the next steps
  • Review contract terms and conditions ensuring that they are as favorable to the business interests as possible, minimize risk, and are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures (with support from the Commercial Manager and legal department)
  • You will work hand in hand with the Ads team in defining and implementing marketing campaigns inside the store.

What You Bring to the Ride

  • At least 5 years of experience in fast-paced environments, ideally in Retail.
  • Strong negotiation skills; expert understanding of terms, conditions, and contracting techniques for managing risk.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders across different departments
  • Be driven to build a business from scratch, you have a natural bias for action, always pushing for things to happen, objective and deadline oriented
  • Data-driven mentality: takes decisions based on data and makes business judgments when necessary
  • Fluent in English.
