HIRING SDR GRADUATE SPAIN - Sales Development Representative (Internship)
🤔 Short Description: Own the initial stages of our sales funnel: prospect which clients to target, engage with them & generate demand. This is a key role to drive revenue in the organization.

As an SDR, you will be part of our high-performing and rapidly-growing sales team in Spain. You will also be part of a larger international team of around 70 people (more than 15 nationalities). Your goal will be to generate pipe by focusing on outreach, prospecting and lead qualification.
As a hunter, you will push hard to help the Sales department meet the MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue) objectives. You will report directly to and be mentored by our VP of Sales in Spain.
More specifically, some of the key tasks are:
- Generate opportunities through different outbound channels: Schedule initial prospecting meetings through cold calling, LinkedIn messaging, email & different channels.
- Prospect companies & identify new leads: Research and evaluate additional leads/prospects through creative research (web, databases, calls, LinkedIn, partners, etc)
- Support the sales process until closing: Help the account executive progress leads through sales process and close clients (i.e. defining game plan, following up, scheduling 2nd meetings, etc)
- Prioritize clients and define approach mechanism: Prioritise prospects based on fit and chances of buying; define best outreach strategies in each case.
- Present our value proposition & product to potential customers: Know our product inside out and be able to present our value proposition to potential customers.
- Prepare reports of your activity and keep track of your progress: Weekly and monthly reports to keep track of your opportunities’ progress and the sales pipeline.
- Internship contract with a base compensation of (500€/monthly for part time & €900/monthly for full time availability) + uncapped variable (target ~€1000.00/ month)

This is a description of our ‘ideal candidate’:
- Relevant Bachelor or Master’s degree or close to completion of it at a top university.
- Some sales experience that can be non-sw related (retail, travel agencies, even if you sold something that was spare in your garage that’s relevant too) (If you do not have any work nor sales experience but you want to acquire it, don’t hesitate to apply either)
- Native-level Spanish & advanced english + legal right to work in Spain
- A strong entrepreneurial mindset and the drive to do whatever it takes to bring Payflow to the next level.
- We like people that have succeeded in other endeavours in life: athletes, NGO volunteers, etc
- Proven ability to be an assertive self-starter with a history of exceeding targets.
- Sense of urgency and ability to multitask
- Enjoys engaging in conversation with people, has capability to influence and to have high-level conversations
- Bonus points: Experience generating warm leads via cold calling, LinkedIn messaging, and other sales tools
- Ability to learn quickly and familiarity with metric-driven sales
- Interest in social impact, employee benefits, and/or payments technology

Round 1: 15 mins - Ramón, VP of Sales, Fede, SVP Growth, or a top performer from his sales team - Motivation to join and validate your experience
Round 2: 45 mins - Ramón or Fede, SVP of Growth - Prospecting Assessment & Role play, simulating your day-to-day as an SDR
Round 3: 30 mins - Federico Casserly, VP Revenue; Catalina, Country Manager; or Avinash, Co-Founder - Culture, values and some additional role plays in day-to-day as SDR
