How Can You Help?

As an Employee Experience Manager you’ll take ownership of our people administration processes, providing clear and prompt support to our employees to ensure smooth operations. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining an effective environment that meets our needs and enhances employee engagement. Your efforts will help keep the team organized, efficient, and motivated, directly contributing to our overall success and cohesion.

Daily at Sensei, you will:

  • Onboard and Offboard with Ease: Assist onboarding and offboarding process and employee-related administrative tasks.
  • Keep the Paychecks Coming: Prepare payroll and handle finance-related tasks to ensure everyone gets paid on time
  • Be the Go-To for Queries: Answer day-to-day queries about people operations topics related to payments, benefits, and holiday balances, making sure everyone has the info they need
  • Maintain Employee Records: Keep all employee records accurate and up-to-date, ensuring compliance with legal standards like overtime and holiday balances
  • Support People Projects: Help develop and implement new HR policies, assist with job postings, and schedule interviews
  • Keep the Office Running Smoothly: Oversee office layout, procure supplies, manage hardware requests, and coordinate with vendors for cleaning, catering, and security
  • Event Management: Support the execution of company events, meetings, and team-building activities.

You will bring to the table:

  • +2 years of experience as an Employee Experience/ People Operations member, especially in a tech start-up environment, is a big plus.
  • HR and Legal know-how: Basic understanding of HR practices and employment law.
  • Proficient with HRIS, payroll systems, and office tools like Google Workspace and Slack
  • Strong verbal and written skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects with keen attention to detail.
  • Quick to identify and solve issues, thrive in fast-paced environments, and eager to learn new processes

After six months, success means:

  • Developing and implementing office policies and standards that significantly enhance satisfaction with our office environment
  • Evaluating all office suppliers and adjusting the procurement process to meet current needs while optimizing for cost-effectiveness
  • Ensuring that all employee documentation is delivered on time and accurately
  • Achieving 100% compliance with legal standards for employee records
