About Your Team As Sensei’s CFO, you'll join our executive leadership team, which works closely with the CEO and executives across growth, operations, engineering, and product. You will lead the finance team, playing a pivotal role in shaping our fast-growing startup's financial strategy and operational excellence.

How Can You Help? As CFO, you will establish and lead financial processes, systems, and controls that drive transparency and strategic decision-making. Your expertise will enhance our financial rigor, ensuring profitability, growth, and sustained investor confidence. Your role will include managing fundraising initiatives, pricing strategy, budgeting, and investor relations.

Daily at Sensei, you will:

• Enable the fundraising process, preparing compelling investment memos and growth projections to support Sensei’s growth acceleration and strategic alliances.
• Provide strategic financial vision, partnering closely with the CEO and senior leadership.
• Implement, automate and manage financial processes and systems that accurately capture revenues, expenses, and operational metrics (e.g., CAC, service margin), enabling precise and immediate visibility into financial performance.
• Prepare and deliver insightful monthly and quarterly investor materials, strategically communicating financial performance, aligning expectations, and strengthening investor relations.
• Collaborate with the Growth team to develop annual budgets, sales targets, and incentive plans aligned with company objectives.
• Provide strategic input on M&A opportunities, infrastructure funds, and financing lines to support Sensei’s growth and acceleration.
• Collaborate with our Financial Director on cash management, internal controls, compliance, audit, tax, treasury, planning, and analysis.
• Centralise pricing logic and approval of customer proposals, ensuring profitability and aligning commercial decisions with strategic goals.

You Will Bring to the Table:

• Proven track record as CFO or senior finance executive, ideally within high-growth startups or technology-driven businesses.
• Demonstrable experience implementing financial systems and processes that enhance transparency, control, and strategic decision-making.
• Strong expertise in financial metrics, pricing strategy, profitability analysis, and proposal validation frameworks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with experience crafting investor relations materials, investment memos, and strategic communications.
• Hands-on experience in fundraising, investor management, and financial modeling for growth projections.
• Comfort guiding and participating in C-suite-level decisions and strategic discussions.
• Highly valued experience in M&A, infrastructure funds, and financing strategies, complementing the executive team's capabilities.

• You have successfully implemented financial processes and tools, delivering complete visibility over revenues, expenses, and key metrics.
• Pricing logic and proposal approvals are centralised, ensuring every commercial decision is profitable and strategically aligned.
• Investor relations are strengthened through proactive, strategic communication of financial performance, enhancing investor confidence.
• You have led the preparation of fundraising materials, positioning Sensei for a successful investment round.
• An effective annual budgeting and sales incentive strategy has been established and adopted across relevant teams.
• You have contributed strategically to growth initiatives through insights on M&A opportunities and financing strategies.
