Based at our headquarters in Barcelona as well as in other strategic locations around the globe, The Hotels Network team is made up of over 140 people from 35 different nationalities. To fuel our continued rapid growth, we are looking for a Golang Backend Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices within a high-traffic environment, prioritizing performance optimization.
• Utilize client feedback to enhance product features and functionality, with a focus on scalability and reliability.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, ensuring clarity and completeness for both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Experience in Backend development with Golang.
• Interest in learning and developing yourself within Golang applications.
• Knowledge of microservices architectures and SOLID principles.
• Experience with databases like MySQL and non-relational databases such as MongoDB will be highly valued.
• Experience in software testing.
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) or similar architectural patterns.
• Knowledge of AWS and Docker will also be highly valued.
• Proficient in Spanish and at least intermediate level of english.
