Main tasks:

• Manage the Health and Safety System of the Plant:
• Control the implementation of the procedures of the H&S Manual at the plant and manage the documental Safety System.
• Manage the H&S training needs of all personnel at the plant.
• Control CAE’s implementation (“Coordinación de Actividades Empresariales”)
• Manage the Medical Follow-up of all the employees at the plant.
• Supervise the tasks of the SPA’s technician.
• Investigate all the accidents, incidents, near misses, lost time, etc. of the plant and propose corrective actions.
• Perform the Emergency Drills and train all the emergency members.
• Advise internal Stakeholders (Industrialization, Processes, etc…) in all the projects that need Safety point of view.

• Manage the Environmental System of the Plant:
• Control the implementation of the procedures of the Environmental Manual at the plant and manage the documental System.
• Manage and improve the waste generation of the plant
• Perform all legal requirements related to environmental regulations (“Declaración anual de residuos, etc.).

• Complementary tasks: support the Facility Manager functions in all what is related to Health and Safety.
• Provides for motivation and familiarization of all Company personnel respecting the importance of complying with Company system procedures and all Safety equipment provided.
• Ensures, in accordance with the corporate guidelines, the implementation, updating, review and auditing of the Company HSE Systems and be part of the internal and external audit (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001).
